Our Human Resources Manager serves in a leadership role and provides consultation to the CHRO, guidance to Agency management and employees regarding federal and state employment laws, personnel rules, statewide HR policies and procedures and other HR related functions.

 

·         Provides consultation to business areas in planning and developing solutions for personnel matters.

·         Provides leadership and manages HR operations.

·         Provides guidance and counsel to the agency leadership regarding HR related matters such as recruitment, classification/compensation, ER, EEO, FMLA/ADA, benefits, workers comp; performance management.

·         Develops and analyzes HR data for best solutions, accuracy, and efficient value added reporting to agency leadership.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Ideal candidate will possess:

·         Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, psychology, or other related field

·         5 years' human resources management experience

·         PHR/SPHR Certification and experience in a Lean or Six Sigma business environment preferred

·         In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment laws, applied knowledge in HR analytics and reporting systems

·         Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff members; ability to influence and gain trust at all levels; to work with large amounts of data, to analyze, sort and compare trends; to operate with a high level of awareness and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations; to develop presentations, training materials, internal and external business communications
