Corporations Division

 

The Corporations Division approves corporate names and grants corporate or limited liability company status
 to entities organizing under the laws of the State of Arizona; grants authority to foreign corporations and limited liability companies to transact business in the State; collects annual reports from all corporations of record;
and maintains records for the benefit of public record and service of process.

 

INFORMATION PROCESSING SPECIALIST II
Initial Processing Section

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will receive, sort into batches, input/scan, and route legal documents and payments for corporate filings.  This responsibility involves heavy data entry into our database, tracking documents and payment data.  You will compile statistical information as needed for reporting, and interface with Arizona State Library & Archives to prepare documents for permanent storage as part of our records retention obligation.  This position may also be called upon to assist with opening and properly routing incoming division mail.

 

WHAT YOU WILL OFFER

  • Basic computer skills in internet navigation, e-mail, scanners, and ability to operate various electronic and office equipment;
  • Skills in business English grammar, writing, and math;
  • Good organizational skills to appropriately plan and prioritize workflow to meet critical timelines; and
  • Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain good working relationships with agency staff, vendors, and the public.
