JOB SUMMARY:

The Arizona Department of Administration is actively recruiting a Warehouse Worker for the General Services Division (GSD).  This position is responsible for receiving, unloading delivery trucks and picking parts up from local vendors; processing requests and supply orders; distributing material/supplies to appropriate personnel; preparing and placing orders in pickup area; sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins; maintaining inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed, conducting cycle-counts and physical inventories; maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining records of expenditures; obtaining quotes to ensure highest dollar value is received; Reporting and analyzing data from the CMMS; Creating and receipting orders in the procurement system; reconciling purchases.

JOB DUTIES:

-          Reporting and analyzing data from the CMMS; Creating and receipting orders in the procurement system; reconciling purchases

-          Receiving, unloading delivery trucks and picking parts up from local vendors;

-          Other duties as assigned as related to the position

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

-          State procurement policies and procedures; inventory control practices

-          Ordering procedures, receiving, storing and disbursing materials, supplies and equipment

-          Warehouse safety practices

Skill in:

-          Effective oral and written communication

-          Developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with customers and vendors

-          Multitasking and working with deadlines

Ability to:

-          Effectively communicate with management and staff at all times

-          Work independently in a team environment

-          Quickly adapt to changing priorities; a self starter that is goal oriented

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: 

-          Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver license record checks, required to maintain acceptable driving records and complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12).
