JOB SUMMARY: · Coordinate & facilitate meetings and events in support of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging. · Support recruitment efforts of council members in support of the mission and vision of GOYFF and GACA. · Be familiar with the Arizona State Plan on Aging and required outcomes of the GACA. · Educate and prepare stakeholders about the value and needs of older Arizonans. · Establish and maintain working relationship with key stakeholders throughout the State of Arizona · Help to support and develop the Arizona Management System (AMS) metrics and standards throughout all areas of work · Other duties as assigned |
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): · Bachelor’s (BA or BS) degree or equivalent required; five-years of experience in a relevant field.
· Skilled at working with diverse groups of community members, constituents and state agency staff members. · Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. · Skilled at organizing work tasks, meeting deadlines and producing accurate and complete work products including research based documents. · Ability to work independently, exercise decision-making skills, self-directed and motivated. · Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team to accomplish common goals. |
