UNDER THE DIRECTION OF:

Director of Communications and Community Engagement.

JOB SUMMARY:

·       Coordinate meetings and events in support of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging.

·       Provide logistics and support in the preparation of materials for Councils/Commissions.

·       Support meetings and events related to Councils/Commissions, as assigned.

·       Develop and modify procedures to improve the effectiveness of the office.

·       Interact with constituents, stakeholders and business contacts with courtesy and respect

·       Engage and participate in the Arizona Management System (AMS) process.

·       Skilled at organizing work tasks, meeting deadlines and producing accurate and complete work products including research based documents.

·       Ability to work independently, exercise decision-making skills, self-directed and motivated.

·       Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team to accomplish common goals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):

·       Bachelor’s (BA or BS) degree or equivalent required

·       Skilled at working with diverse groups of community members, constituents and state agency staff members.

·       Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

·       Skilled at organizing work tasks, meeting deadlines and producing accurate and complete work products including research based documents.

·       Ability to work independently, exercise decision-making skills, self-directed and motivated.

·       Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team to accomplish common goals
