Administrative Assistant

 Student Achievement and School Excellence Section

Phoenix Location

Salary Range: $35,000-$45,000


  • Provide administrative support to the Deputy Associate Superintendent as delegated. Such support includes, but is not limited to, maintain files, calendar requests, daily schedule, reports, database, other documentation as well as receive and respond appropriately to phone calls and e-mail
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and requisitions
  • Coordinate and schedule travel, prepare appropriate forms related to travel, conferences, meetings and trainings. Attend meetings, presentations and conferences as appropriate
  • Serve as Committee of Practitioners Coordinator
  • Provide overall administrative support for the Educator & School Excellence Section
  •  Occasional in and out-of-state travel may be required for this position

  • Preference will be given to those applicants with previous administrative assistance experience in education or state government
